Third class passengers Mary Davison and her husband Thomas Henry Davison boarded the Titanic in Southampton and were headed for Bedford, Ohio, to be near her parents who lived in Cleveland. When disaster struck Mary boarded lifeboat sixteen, while her husband stayed behind with the other men. Thomas died in the sinking and his body was never recovered. Mary survived and lived in Bedford for the rest of her life. | ||
